Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Inclusion of Sensitive Information in Source Code (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-4155)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to inclusion of a secret cryptographic seed value within the genpw script. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-4157)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the handling of OCPP messages. A remote unauthenticated attacker on the local network can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
3) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-4156)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the handling of OCPP messages. A remote unauthenticated attacker on the local network can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
