Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-20151)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insertion of sensitive information into the sent data in the web interface. A remote user can send a specially crafted message to an affected Cisco SSM On-Prem host and retrieve session credentials from subsequent status messages.
2) Exposure of Resource to Wrong Sphere (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-20160)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to an unintentional exposure of an internal service. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send specially crafted HTTP requests to the exposed API interface and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
