Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-38109)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the mlx5_eswitch_enable_pf_vf_vports() and mlx5_eswitch_disable_pf_vf_vports() functions in drivers/net/ethernet/mellanox/mlx5/core/eswitch.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-23111)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the nft_map_catchall_activate() function in net/netfilter/nf_tables_api.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
3) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-23210)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ice/ice_ptp.h. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
