1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in STATUS_SEND_PACKS handling of ResourcePackClientResponsePacket when processing the packIds array from client packets. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted packet containing duplicate valid pack UUIDs to cause a denial of service.
Only servers with resource packs enabled are vulnerable.
