1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-39864)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in auth.so when processing a specially crafted SIP packet during additional user identity checks after successful RFC2617 authentication without a database backend. A remote privileged user can send a specially crafted SIP packet to cause a denial of service.
Exploitation requires a deployment that does not use a database backend and performs additional user identity checks after successful RFC2617 authentication.
