This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Integer underflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-27907)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to integer underflow in Windows Storage Spaces Controller. A local user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application, trigger integer underflow and gain elevated privileges on the target system.


2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-32076)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in Windows Storage Spaces Controller. A local user can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to privileges escalation.
