Description
This security bulletin contains information about 6 vulnerabilities.
1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-35244)
CWE-ID: CWE-20 - Improper input validation
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:A/VC:L/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to read and manipulate data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Lifecycle Management component in Oracle Hyperion Infrastructure Technology. A remote privileged user can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.
2) Unchecked return value (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-54571)
CWE-ID: CWE-252 - Unchecked Return Value
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass implemented security restrictions.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient checks of the return value when handling HTTP requests. A remote attacker can override HTTP response Content-Type header and perform XSS attacks or disclose arbitrary script source code.
3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-65018)
CWE-ID: CWE-122 - Heap-based Buffer Overflow
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Red
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the png_image_finish_read() function when processing 16-bit interlaced PNGs with 8-bit output format. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted image file to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-66566)
CWE-ID: CWE-200 - Exposure of sensitive information to an unauthorized actor
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to the application insufficiently clears the output buffer in Java-based decompressor implementations. In applications where the output buffer is reused without being cleared, this may lead to disclosure of sensitive data.
Note, JNI-based implementations are not affected.
5) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-9086)
CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:L/E:U/U:Clear
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition when reading cookie path. A malicious server can set a specially crafted cookie path using the secure keyword, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and crash the application.
6) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-64775)
CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when handling multipart requests. A remote attacker can consume all disk space on the system and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
