Description

This security bulletin contains information about 10 vulnerabilities.

1) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-26007)

CWE-ID: CWE-345 - Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to the public_key_from_numbers (or EllipticCurvePublicNumbers.public_key()), EllipticCurvePublicNumbers.public_key(), load_der_public_key() and load_pem_public_key() functions do not verify that the point belongs to the expected prime-order subgroup of the curve. A remote attacker can provide a public key point P from a small-order subgroup. This can lead to security issues in various situations, such as the most commonly used signature verification (ECDSA) and shared key negotiation (ECDH). When the victim computes the shared secret as S = [victim_private_key]P via ECDH, this leaks information about victim_private_key mod (small_subgroup_order). For curves with cofactor > 1, this reveals the least significant bits of the private key. When these weak public keys are used in ECDSA , it's easy to forge signatures on the small subgroup.

2) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-12383)

CWE-ID: CWE-362 - Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition')

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass trust restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in the SSL/TLS configuration handling. A remote attacker can bypass trust restrictions and gain unauthorized access to the application.

3) Improper Certificate Validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-0341)

CWE-ID: CWE-295 - Improper Certificate Validation

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform MitM attack.

the vulnerability exists due to improper certificate validation within the verifyHostName in OkHostnameVerifier.java in okhttp library in Android runtime. A remote attacker can force the system to accept a certificate for the wrong domain due to improperly used crypto and perform MitM attack.

4) Inconsistent interpretation of HTTP requests (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-33870)

CWE-ID: CWE-444 - Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request Smuggling')

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform HTTP request smuggling attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of HTTP requests within chunked transfer encoding extension values. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the server and smuggle arbitrary HTTP headers.

5) Improper handling of highly compressed data (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-21441)

CWE-ID: CWE-409 - Improper Handling of Highly Compressed Data (Data Amplification)

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the application does not properly handle highly compressed data when sending HTTP redirect responses. A remote attacker can multiple large requests to the application, consume all available CPU and memory resources and perform a denial of service attack.

6) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-23490)

CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when handling RELATIVE-OID with excessive continuation octets. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

7) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-21452)

CWE-ID: CWE-20 - Improper input validation

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Configuration (MessagePack) component in Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core Policy. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

8) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-27099)

CWE-ID: CWE-79 - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:P/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:L/SI:L/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data within the "Mark temporarily offline" offline cause. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.

9) Link following (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-55130)

CWE-ID: CWE-59 - Improper Link Resolution Before File Access ('Link Following')

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear

The vulnerability allows a local user to read or modify arbitrary files outside the intended allowed path.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access control in the permission model path restriction handling when processing crafted relative symlink paths. A local user can chain directories and symlinks to read or modify arbitrary files outside the intended allowed path.

The issue affects use of the permission model with --allow-fs-read or --allow-fs-write restrictions.

10) Improper Neutralization of HTTP Headers for Scripting Syntax (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-12543)

CWE-ID: CWE-644 - Improper Neutralization of HTTP Headers for Scripting Syntax

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:L/SA:N/E:U/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform spoofing attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation when processing HTTP requests. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request with an arbitrary Host header that will be accepted by the application.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to perform cross-site scripting, cache poisoning or session hijacking attacks.
