The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in Cranelift's compilation of the f64.copysign WebAssembly instruction when processing a memory-loaded operand on x86-64 with AVX. A local user can execute crafted WebAssembly code to cause a denial of service.

The issue requires signals-based-traps to be disabled and guard pages to be enabled, and user interaction is required.
