The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the clone_bio() function in drivers/md/dm-flakey.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.


2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37749)
