The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource shutdown or release in do_become_nonbusy() when handling an exceptional exit in do_cmd_ioctl(). A local user can trigger the exceptional exit path so that chanlist memory is not freed to cause a denial of service.
