The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a memory leak in the s390 zcrypt CCA card accelerator handling for clear key RSA requests when processing ME and CRT requests. A local user can trigger repeated clear key RSA requests to cause a denial of service.
The issue occurs when CCA cards are used as an accelerator.
