The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper initialization in internal buffer handling when creating internal buffers. A local user can trigger a DMA allocation failure to cause a denial of service.
The issue can leave a partially initialized buffer in the list, resulting in an inconsistent state and potential leaks.
