The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper locking in drm GEM shmem madvise handling when invoking the object's madvise operation in KUnit tests. A local user can trigger the vulnerable test path to cause a denial of service.
The issue is limited to the KUnit test interface and is not intended for regular drivers.
