The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause memory corruption or unexpected behavior.

The vulnerability exists due to buffer copy without checking size of input in BluFi Wi-Fi credential handling functions when processing Wi-Fi credentials. A remote attacker can send oversized credential data to cause memory corruption or unexpected behavior.

The overflow occurs in buffers located in global memory.
