The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a slab out-of-bounds read in the AppArmor mount path matching logic when handling mount operations. A local user can trigger a mount operation with a non-terminated string to cause a denial of service.
The issue was observed in aa_dfa_match during AppArmor mount mediation on ARM64 systems.
