1) Deadlock (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-45907)

CWE-ID: CWE-833 - Deadlock

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect lock ordering in devlink health reporter recovery paths in the mlx5e driver when handling recovery work triggered by device error conditions. A local user can trigger error recovery and deadlock the kernel networking stack to cause a denial of service.

The issue affects recovery flows involving mlx5e_tx_err_cqe_work, mlx5e_reporter_rx_timeout, mlx5e_reporter_tx_ptpsq_unhealthy, and mlx5e_reporter_tx_timeout.
