Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-285 - Improper Authorization
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to improper authorization in "entries/save-entry". A remote user can reassign an entry’s authorship to another user without holding the dedicated peer-author-change permission.
2) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-285 - Improper Authorization
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to missing authorization checks for source-asset deletion during asset file replacement operations. A remote user can replace files in one volume and delete assets in another volume where they do not have delete permission.
3) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-285 - Improper Authorization
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to missing authorization validation for destination-folder deletion during forced asset-folder moves. A remote user can trigger a forced move into a conflicting name and delete a destination folder and its contents.
4) Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-915 - Improperly Controlled Modification of Dynamically-Determined Object Attributes
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper control of dynamically assigned object attributes in "id" within newAttributes. A remote user can predict or enumerate element IDs to overwrite any other element.
5) Improper access control (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-284 - Improper Access Control
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:L/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in "entries/move-to-section". A remote user can inject or relocate content into a protected section.
