The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper type handling in ctype.h function calls when processing non-unsigned char values. A remote attacker can supply crafted input to cause a denial of service.


2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-6735)
