The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an incorrect assertion condition in p2pmem_alloc_mmap() in the PCI P2PDMA subsystem when mapping allocated p2pdma pages. A local user can trigger the warning path to cause a denial of service.

The warning is reported when CONFIG_DEBUG_VM is enabled.
