The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop when processing metadata of image files. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted image to the application, consume all available system resources and cause denial of service conditions.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in the CRW image parser. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service attack.
