Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 vulnerabilities.
1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-50468)
CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in Microsoft SQL Server. A remote user can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
2) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-47295)
CWE-ID: CWE-89 - Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in Microsoft SQL Server. A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
3) External Control of File Name or Path (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-55002)
CWE-ID: CWE-73 - External Control of File Name or Path
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to external control of file name or path in SQL Server, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
4) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-54118)
CWE-ID: CWE-502 - Deserialization of Untrusted Data
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data in Microsoft SQL Server. A remote user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
5) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-54117)
