Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.

1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-59933)

CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources within XLS/OLE sector-chain self-loop. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

2) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-59931)

CWE-ID: CWE-918 - Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within HTTP redirect in WEBSERVICE() domain whitelist. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.

3) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-59932)

CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion

CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources within gnumeric reader unbounded gzip expansion. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
