Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Authorization (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-285 - Improper Authorization
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization checks.
The vulnerability exists due to configuration errors. A remote attacker can cause existence-based auth checks to fail open.
2) Incorrect Behavior Order: Validate Before Canonicalize (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-180 - Incorrect Behavior Order: Validate Before Canonicalize
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Amber
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to default email-address normalizer validates the address before applying Unicode normalization. A remote attacker can gain access to the target system.
3) Insufficient verification of data authenticity (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-345 - Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:A/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Amber
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to OAuth state, nonce, and PKCE check cookies are not bound to the provider that created them. A remote attacker can gain persistent sign-in to the victim's account.
4) Input validation error (CVE-ID: N/A)
CWE-ID: CWE-20 - Improper input validation
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the getToken() helper. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
