The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a deadlock in the pinconf-pins sysfs node handling in the meson amlogic-a4 pinctrl driver when processing reads of the pinconf-pins sysfs node. A local user can access the sysfs node to cause a denial of service.
