The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling in the Blocks Extensible Exchange Protocol (BEEP) feature when parsing a specific BEEP SOAP request. A remote attacker can send a specific BEEP SOAP request to cause a denial of service.

A successful exploit could cause the affected device to reload unexpectedly. Only devices with the BEEP feature configured are vulnerable.
