1) Improper Initialization (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-68395)

CWE-ID: CWE-665 - Improper Initialization

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper initialization in the sata_dwc_460ex driver interrupt handling during device probe when enabling SATA interrupts before the IRQ handler is registered. A local attacker can trigger an interrupt during probe or cause a probe failure after interrupts are unmasked to cause a denial of service.

The issue can result in a spurious interrupt storm if the controller asserts an interrupt with no registered handler.
