1) Incorrect Comparison (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-68385)

CWE-ID: CWE-697 - Incorrect Comparison

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect buffer selection in csum_partial() fallback logic in arch/s390/lib/csum-partial.c when calculating checksums on machines without the vector facility. A local user can trigger checksum calculation to cause a denial of service.

Only s390 systems without the vector facility are affected.
