The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a resource leak in mt7996_tx_prepare_skb() when handling transmission preparation after link_conf or link_sta lookup failures. A local user can trigger error conditions that leak transmit tokens to cause a denial of service.
