Description

This security bulletin contains information about 1 vulnerability.

1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-74293)

CWE-ID: CWE-20 - Improper input validation

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in fsl_audmix_put_mix_clk_src() and fsl_audmix_put_out_src() in the fsl_audmix ASoC driver when handling user-provided enum control values. A local user can supply an out-of-range enum item to cause a denial of service.

The invalid value is converted before bounds checking, and the affected code paths use the converted value in a BIT() test and as an index into a transition table.
