1) Incorrect calculation (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-74276)

CWE-ID: CWE-682 - Incorrect Calculation

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper buffer size calculation in the xilinx SPI driver FIFO size detection logic when handling SPI transactions in irq mode. A local user can trigger an SPI transaction of the assumed FIFO size or more to cause a denial of service.

The issue can cause the driver to spin in a while loop forever after one received byte is lost because the RX FIFO is smaller than the incorrectly assumed size.
