1) Improper locking (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-72409)

CWE-ID: CWE-667 - Improper Locking

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper state management in the mvneta resume path when resuming the system while NAPI poll is pending after a per-CPU interrupt has been disabled. A local user can trigger a suspend and resume sequence during this condition to cause a denial of service.

This affects Marvell MPIC platforms using the mvneta driver, where the per-CPU interrupt can remain masked after resume and result in complete loss of network connectivity.
