1) Type Confusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-74413)

CWE-ID: CWE-843 - Type confusion

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper type handling in rtw89 PCI AER handlers when handling PCI error recovery events. A local user can trigger the affected error-handling paths to cause a denial of service.

The issue affects the io_error_detected() and io_resume() handlers, which retrieve driver data as the wrong pointer type and operate on incorrect structure offsets.
