Description
This security bulletin contains information about 1 vulnerability.
1) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-74381)
CWE-ID: CWE-399 - Resource Management Errors
CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper reference count management in host1x buffer object cache handling when pinning and caching buffer object mappings. A local user can trigger caching of a buffer object mapping to cause a denial of service.
The issue stems from a circular reference between cached mappings and the underlying buffer object, which can prevent the buffer object from being freed.
Remediation
