1) Always-Incorrect Control Flow Implementation (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-72374)

CWE-ID: CWE-670 - Always-Incorrect Control Flow Implementation

CVSSv4: 8.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of incomplete message parsing state in afs callback service message parsers when processing callback notification request streams. A remote attacker can send crafted callback messages with incomplete packet sequences to cause a denial of service.

The issue affects the AFS filesystem client callback service that listens through an rxrpc server for callback notifications.
