1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-74530)

CWE-ID: CWE-416 - Use After Free

CVSSv4: 5.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to use-after-free in hci_connect_big_sync() callback handling in net/bluetooth/hci_sync.c when processing Bluetooth BIG sync connection operations. A local user can trigger a race condition leading to use of a freed connection object to cause a denial of service.

The issue is described as theoretical and occurs if the connection object is freed while the hci_sync task is running.
