This security bulletin contains information about 1 vulnerability.

1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-72148)

CWE-ID: CWE-362 - Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition')

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in dw_edma_v0_core_start() when concurrently starting DMA channels. A local user can trigger concurrent channel operations to cause a denial of service.

The DONE_INT_MASK and ABORT_INT_MASK registers are shared by all DMA channels, and the issue arises from a non-atomic read-modify-write sequence while updating them.
