CWE-ID: CWE-404 - Improper Resource Shutdown or Release

CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]

The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper cleanup in sparx5_register_notifier_blocks() in the sparx5 switchdev component when handling initialization failures after workqueue allocation fails. A local user can trigger initialization failure conditions to cause a denial of service.

The issue leaves a switchdev blocking notifier registered on the error path.
