The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to an integer overflow in create_log_context in drivers/md/dm-log.c when calculating bitmap memory size for large region_count values on 32-bit systems. A local user can trigger the vulnerable code path to cause a denial of service.

Only 32-bit systems are affected.
