The vulnerability allows a remote user to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access control in rvu_mbox_handler_lmtst_tbl_setup() when handling mailbox requests that specify base_pcifunc. A remote user can supply a crafted base_pcifunc value to disclose sensitive information.

Exploitation requires a VF caller on cn10k hardware, and the issue is limited to redirecting LMTLINE sharing outside the caller's own PF.
