The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an integer overflow leading to out-of-bounds write in qrtr_endpoint_post() when processing a crafted incoming qrtr packet. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted packet to cause a denial of service.
Only 32-bit systems are affected; 64-bit systems are unaffected.
Remediation
