The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds write in kfd_event_page_set() when processing a user-supplied buffer size parameter. A local user can pass a small buffer to trigger an out-of-bounds kernel memory write to escalate privileges.
8) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-46331)
CWE-ID: CWE-787 - Out-of-bounds write
CVSSv4: 6.9 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause memory corruption.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds write in tcf_pedit_act() when processing packet edit actions with typed keys and runtime header offsets. A local user can supply crafted pedit parameters that cause writes to a region that has not been properly copy-on-written to cause memory corruption.
The issue can involve negative offsets such as Ethernet header edits at ingress.
9) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-52923)
CWE-ID: CWE-416 - Use After Free
CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free in ipc_idr_alloc() in the checkpoint/restore SysV IPC allocation path when processing a request for the next SysV IPC id. A local user can request allocation beyond the valid IPC id range to cause a denial of service.
A subsequent walk of /proc/sysvipc/shm can dereference freed memory through a stale IDR entry.
10) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-52956)
CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
CVSSv4: 8.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in __ceph_x_decrypt() when processing a crafted Ceph authentication reply message. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted message frame to cause a denial of service.
The issue can be triggered when the ciphertext is too short to contain a ceph_x_encrypt_header, such as in a FRAME_TAG_AUTH_REPLY_MORE message.
11) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-52972)
CWE-ID: CWE-190 - Integer overflow
CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to an integer overflow in the af_alg control message handler when processing a crafted associated data length value for AEAD operations. A local user can send a specially crafted message to cause a denial of service.
12) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-53224)
CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
CVSSv4: 8.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to out-of-bounds read in SCTP cookie processing in sctp_unpack_cookie(), sctp_process_init(), and sctp_raw_to_bind_addrs() when handling a malformed COOKIE_ECHO containing a truncated embedded INIT chunk or malformed address parameters. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted COOKIE_ECHO to cause a denial of service.
When cookie authentication is disabled, an oversized raw address list length can also be used to trigger the out-of-bounds read condition.
13) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-53246)
CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
CVSSv4: 6.9 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information or cause memory corruption.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read in sctp_unpack_cookie() and cached peer INIT chunk processing when processing a crafted COOKIE_ECHO chunk. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted COOKIE_ECHO chunk with an inflated cached INIT chunk length to disclose sensitive information or cause memory corruption.
The issue occurs in a listening SCTP server while walking parameters from the cached peer INIT chunk embedded after the cookie.
14) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-64600)
CWE-ID: CWE-362 - Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition')
CVSSv4: 6.8 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in xfs_reflink_fill_cow_hole and xfs_reflink_fill_delalloc in the XFS reflink code when processing direct I/O writes after cycling the ILOCK. A local user can trigger a racing direct I/O write operation to cause a denial of service.
The issue occurs because a stale data fork mapping can be used after the ILOCK is dropped and reacquired, which can result in incorrect shared-block state during copy-on-write handling.
