The vulnerability allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference in bnge_aux_dev_release() when releasing a partially initialized auxiliary device after auxiliary device allocation fails. A local attacker can trigger the auxiliary device setup failure path to cause a denial of service.
