1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-66152)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to write arbitrary files as root.
The vulnerability exists due to path traversal in OPSWAT tarball when processing a crafted update archive. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted tarball to write arbitrary files as root.
User interaction is required.

The vulnerability allows a local user to manipulate file paths.
The vulnerability exists due to improper link resolution before file access in the NEService auto-upgrade process when handling temporary files. A local user can manipulate temporary file paths to manipulate file paths.
