The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform spoofing attack.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect processing of user-supplied data. A malicious webpage can stall a popup's cross-origin navigation after commit, causing the address bar to display the destination origin while continuing to render attacker-controlled content.
