Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.
1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-66019)
CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion
CVSSv4: 8.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote attacker can craft a PDF which leads to a memory usage of up to 1 GB per stream. This requires parsing the content stream of a page using the LZWDecode filter.
2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-22690)
CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion
CVSSv4: 6.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when parsing PDF files. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Inefficient regular expression complexity (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-22691)
CWE-ID: CWE-1333 - Inefficient Regular Expression Complexity
CVSSv4: 6.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N]
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation when processing startxref entries with a regular expressions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted PDF file containing multiple whitespace characters and perform regular expression denial of service (ReDos) attack.
