1) Algorithm Downgrade (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-54291)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass channel-binding protection and enable a man-in-the-middle downgrade of authentication.

The vulnerability exists due to failing open and algorithm downgrade in ScramAuthenticator when processing certificates whose signature algorithm has no tls-server-end-point channel-binding hash. A remote attacker can present a certificate with an unsupported signature algorithm while intercepting the TLS connection to bypass channel-binding protection and enable a man-in-the-middle downgrade of authentication.

Only connections configured with channelBinding=require are affected.

The vulnerability exists due to broken authentication and session management in Jira Data Center when handling authentication and session management. A remote attacker can exploit the authentication and session management flaw to perform actions as another user.

User interaction is required.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper handling of sensitive headers in the Node.js HTTP adapter in lib/adapters/http.js when following redirects after proxy settings are re-evaluated from an authenticated proxy to a direct connection. A remote attacker can cause the application to follow a crafted redirect so that proxy credentials are sent to the redirect target to disclose sensitive information.

Only the Node.js HTTP adapter is affected, and exploitation requires automatic redirects to be enabled with an authenticated proxy configuration.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to inefficient regular expression complexity in lib/helpers/cookies.js read(name) when processing an attacker-controlled XSRF cookie name while reading document.cookie. A remote attacker can supply a crafted cookie name containing regex metacharacters to cause a denial of service.

The issue affects standard browser environments and can freeze the affected browser tab while axios prepares a request. Applications are affected only when attacker-controlled data reaches the XSRF cookie name configuration or an unsafe direct call to the internal cookie helper.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in ObservationGrpcServerInterceptor when handling specially crafted gRPC requests. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted gRPC request to cause a denial of service.

The issue is exposed only when observations are recorded and metrics are output through DefaultMeterObservationHandler or a similarly behaving custom ObservationHandler.

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to the "shouldBypassProxy" does not normalise IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.


7) Prototype pollution (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-44494)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in config.proxy. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack, which can result in information disclosure or data manipulation.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled resource consumption in Http2Decompressor.decompress(...) in DelegatingDecompressorFrameListener when processing HTTP/2 DATA frames for a stream whose decompressor channel has already been closed. A remote attacker can send specially crafted HTTP/2 DATA frames to cause a denial of service.

Only applications that enable HTTP/2 content decompression via DelegatingDecompressorFrameListener are vulnerable.

The vulnerability exists due to improperly controlled modification of object prototype attributes in the assign() helper when processing a JSON-derived attributes object. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted object containing a __proto__ property to inject cookie attributes.

This issue affects applications that pass attacker-influenced JSON-derived objects as the attributes argument to Cookies.set, Cookies.remove, Cookies.withAttributes, or Cookies.withConverter.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the merge() function in lib/utils.js. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform prototype pollution, which can result in data manipulation or denial of service (DoS) condition.

The vulnerability exists due to improper state management in Bzip2BlockDecompressor.read() when parsing a malformed bzip2 stream. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted compressed stream to cause a denial of service.

The issue can permanently capture the event-loop thread in an infinite loop.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to loop with an unreachable exit condition in tar.replace() when scanning an attacker-controlled existing archive. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted tar archive with a negative base-256 encoded entry size to cause a denial of service.

Only applications that call the replace API on an existing attacker-controlled archive are affected; plain extraction-only workflows are not affected.

The vulnerability exists due to allocation of resources without limits or throttling in the Unpack stream in src/extract.ts when extracting crafted compressed tar archives. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted archive to cause a denial of service.

The issue can exhaust disk space and CPU through decompression and parsing of highly compressible input.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the SPDY header decoder in SpdyFrameCodec when processing zlib-compressed SPDY header blocks after maxHeaderSize truncation. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HEADERS frame to cause a denial of service.

Exploitation requires a reachable SPDY pipeline using SpdyFrameCodec and a decoder path that selects the zlib decoder.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to allocation of resources without limits or throttling in the fetch adapter when processing requests and responses with configured finite size limits. A remote attacker can supply an oversized response, a large data: URL, or an oversized request body to cause a denial of service.

The issue affects server-side usage where applications rely on maxContentLength or maxBodyLength being enforced by the fetch adapter.

The vulnerability exists due to improper control of code generation in _.template when processing untrusted options.imports key names. A remote attacker can supply crafted imports key names to execute arbitrary code.

Code execution occurs at template compilation time. If Object.prototype has been polluted by another vector, inherited polluted keys can also be copied into the imports object and passed to Function().

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to insertion of sensitive information into sent data in the Node.js HTTP adapter when following an HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect from a proxied request to a direct request. A remote attacker can trigger a crafted redirect flow to disclose sensitive information.

Only Node.js requests using the HTTP adapter are affected, and exploitation requires redirects to be followed and proxy credentials to be configured for the initial HTTP request but not for the redirected HTTPS request.

The vulnerability exists due to improper resource management in the SpdyHttpDecoder handler when processing a client-initiated SYN_STREAM frame followed by an RST_STREAM frame or oversized content. A remote attacker can send crafted SPDY frames to cause a denial of service.

The issue leaks a pooled ByteBuf by removing the partially constructed FullHttpRequest from an internal map without releasing the underlying buffer.

The vulnerability exists due to allocation of resources without limits or throttling in the WebSocket client message fragmentation handling when processing fragmented WebSocket messages from a server. A remote attacker can send many small or empty continuation frames to cause a denial of service.

Exploitation requires the application to connect to an attacker-controlled or compromised WebSocket endpoint using the WebSocket client or the WebSocketStream API.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled resource consumption in DefaultSpdySettingsFrame settings map handling when processing a crafted SPDY/3.1 SETTINGS frame. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted SETTINGS frame to cause a denial of service.

Exploitation requires the target to accept SPDY/3.1 traffic through a Netty pipeline containing SpdyFrameCodec.

The vulnerability exists due to inefficient algorithmic complexity in expand() when processing attacker-influenced brace expansion patterns containing consecutive non-expanding {} groups. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted input string to cause a denial of service.

The issue can block the calling thread for minutes or indefinitely with a small all-ASCII input, and applications using Node's single-threaded event loop may fully stall a worker or process.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences within the Rollup module bundler. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and write arbitrary files on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper certificate validation in X509TrustManagerWrapper within netty-handler when establishing client TLS connections with a user-supplied plain X509TrustManager. A remote attacker can present a certificate for an unexpected hostname to disclose sensitive information.

The issue occurs because hostname verification is not performed in this configuration, even when HTTPS endpoint identification is expected by default.

The vulnerability exists due to a reference-count leak in DelegatingDecompressorFrameListener when processing HTTP/2 frames that cause the flow-controller to throw. A remote attacker can send crafted frames to cause a denial of service.

The issue may exhaust memory and eventually take down the JVM due to an out-of-memory error.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled memory allocation in SslClientHelloHandler.decode() when processing a TLS ClientHello that does not fit in the first record. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted ClientHello with a large handshake length to cause a denial of service.

The issue is exposed by the commonly used SniHandler and AbstractSniHandler constructors because they disable the client hello length guard and do not schedule a handshake timeout.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect type conversion or cast in the PAX header parser when parsing a crafted tar archive with an all-digit path value. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted tar archive to cause a denial of service.

The crash occurs as an uncaught TypeError during extraction and bypasses application-level error handling, including error and warning handlers.

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass IPv6 subnet access controls.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect comparison in IpSubnetFilterRule.compareTo() when evaluating IPv6 subnet rules. A remote attacker can use a valid public IP address to bypass IPv6 subnet access controls.

The issue is caused by applying a bitwise AND operation to the configured networkAddress instead of the subnetMask.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect escaping in JavaScriptUtils.javaScriptEscape() when processing input for JavaScript output. A remote attacker can supply crafted input to execute arbitrary script code in the victim's browser.

User interaction is required to load the affected content in a browser.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled resource consumption in static resource resolution in Spring MVC and Spring WebFlux when resolving versioned resources served from the file system. A remote attacker can send malicious requests that are slow to resolve to cause a denial of service.

Only applications that serve static resources from the file system and have versioned resources support configured are vulnerable.
