The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.

The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of calculated display rows and columns in drm_log_draw_kmsg_record() when processing a scale value that exceeds the display dimensions. A local user can configure an excessively large display scale to cause a denial of service.
