The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to improper synchronization in the RFCOMM deferred setup acceptance path when processing a recvmsg call after a remote DISC frame is received for a deferred data link connection. A remote attacker can send a DISC frame to a deferred RFCOMM data link connection to cause a denial of service.
