The vulnerability allows a local user to cause a denial of service.
The vulnerability exists due to a memory leak in the io_uring uring command asynchronous cleanup logic when processing asynchronous io_uring commands. A local user can submit asynchronous commands that reuse cached iovec arrays to cause a denial of service.
The issue manifests when the command cache is full and a command inherits a cached iovec array.
